We are expanding the product portfolio of our Microsoft cloud services. From now on, our customers can also obtain Microsoft 365 from us.

A real added value for all Microsoft cloud services was born. In 2018 we published Managed Security 365. The service additionally secures the Microsoft cloud environments of our customers and reliably protects against data loss, cyber attacks and sabotage.

QualityHosting AG is now making its Hosted Exchange Service available to 100,000 satisfied users.

We also reach the magical mark of 1000 partners who sell our services in their own name and with their own branding.

With the status Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider indirect (CSP indirect), our QualityResellers have the opportunity to add Office 365 to their portfolio in their one-stop shop. We are proud to be able to make this offer to our partners as one of the less German CSP indirect.

And: At the Hosting and Service Provider Summit in Frankfurt aM in May, our CTO Markus Oestreicher received the Platinum Hosting Award, the highest award in the Exchange Hosting category. The well-known Vogel IT publishing house had awarded the Readers’ Choice Award in cooperation with webhostlist.de.

We are particularly pleased about the award, as it was awarded by a jury, but represents a user decision. For us it is an incentive to further optimize our efficient and user-oriented solutions in order to support our customers in their work.

As one of the first German Microsoft cloud solution providers, QualityHosting offers its customers the Office Client from the Office 365 package.

In 2015, QualityHosting exceeded 75,000 Hosted Exchange users.

We provide our Hosted Exchange to the 50,000 satisfied users.

With the largest launch in the company’s history, QualityHosting AG is significantly expanding its product portfolio as the Hosted Exchange market leader with SharePoint 2013 and Lync 2013.

2012: Hosted Exchange 2010 SP2 is launched at QualityHosting. As the fastest growing cloud provider in the field of applications, QualityHosting AG is recognized by the Microsoft organization “EMEA Hosting Club”. Specifically, this means: In 2012, over 250 companies are switching to the cloud platform from QualityHosting, the market leader for hosted exchange in Germany.

2011: With the commissioning of Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, QualityHosting customers benefit directly from the advantages of the improved failover cluster in terms of reliability.

Even back then, QualityHosting customers can manage the Hosted Exchange and SharePoint products themselves in the new and since then continuously optimized customer center. QualityResellers have the option of branding the customer center and making it available to their end customers under their brand. Individual benefits such as cost center management are highly valued by customers.

The customer center was developed internally by the QualityHosting developers. Therefore, both continuous further development and responding to customer suggestions are easily possible.

2008: In addition to Hosted Exchange 2007, QualityHosting AG also offers Hosted SharePoint and an independently checked, audit-proof e-mail archiving.

2007: The Microsoft specialist and pioneer QualityHosting is the first provider to implement Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 as a hosted service based on a specially developed environment.

2006: QualityHosting remains loyal to the Gelnhausen location 30 kilometers east of Frankfurt am Main and moves into more spacious rooms on the Uferweg with a view of the Kinzig River.

2005: QualityHosting AG presents another unique selling point in the market: double security with the completely redundant Internet connection.

Because in addition to the QualityHosting data center at COLT Telecom, QualityHosting has moved into a second high-security data center and has therefore opted for Interxion, Europe’s largest operator of carrier-neutral data centers and managed services.

2005: QualityHosting AG, founded in 2003 by entrepreneurs Christian Heit and Markus Oestreicher, officially takes over the operative business. This takes account of previous growth and lays the foundation for future economic growth.

QualityHosting AG is 100% financed by the two entrepreneurs and is thus in the continuity of the business philosophy pursued so far.

2004: The product portfolio in the areas of housing and dedicated server is expanded to include individual solutions, product advertising is strengthened and a large number of complex business solutions are implemented for customers. In the difficult economic environment, QualityHosting is once again able to achieve growth of over 70%.

QualityHosting has been providing training since autumn 2004. A task that fills us with joy and responsibility.

2003: QualityHosting introduces an extensive range of products in the housing and dedicated server sectors. The new services are characterized by maximum availability, clear service guarantees and the focus on Microsoft technologies.

2002: In February 2002 QualityHosting is one of the first providers in Germany to introduce Microsoft .NET technology and integrate it into all products. Markus Oestreicher, who is responsible for the technology, is interviewed by the magazine “ASP.NET Professional” on this occasion.

In order to be able to offer the customers even more highly available hosting and housing services, QualityHosting is putting a second Internet connection into operation via another carrier.

Despite the lull in the IT industry, QualityHosting has grown by over 125%.

2001: QualityHosting decides for COLT Telecom as a partner company for the data center operation and the Internet connection. A long and very successful cooperation begins.

2000: The demand for the hosting products offered exceeds expectations. The development is so rapid that QualityHosting – started as a product – is becoming the company’s core business.

Furthermore, QualityHosting is recommended for the first time as a provider in the book “ASP – Das Einsteigerseminar” by Hiroshi Nakanishi – a standard work for Microsoft developers for quality hosting services.

1999: Christian Heit and Markus Oestreicher start the new “QualityHosting” division together. Objective: Expansion of the existing portfolio with qualitative hosting products based on Microsoft technologies.

1999: At CeBIT, QualityHosting and its partner companies present an e-commerce solution that sells over 100 licenses.

1998-1999: Participation in the development and implementation of an extranet that networked more than 1,000 branches of a large German furniture store.

July 1998: Christian Heit, today CEO of QualityHosting AG, goes into business for himself and concentrates on Microsoft-based Internet applications.
